Claymore Lubricants was formed in 1979 by a group of elite former major-oil-company professionals, supplying a full range of products for automotive, industrial transportation, production machinery, agriculture, and general industrial lubrication needs. As demand for Claymore’s specialized oil products increased, the VIP Oil brand was established in 1987 as a higher-tier line focused on quality and extreme-condition performance.

VIP Oil became a lubricant partner with UK-based racing car manufacturer LOLA Racing. With more than 50 years of motorsport heritage across F3, F2, F1, world rally, endurance, and LMP development, LOLA’s racing background helped shape VIP Oil’s performance direction.
